Status of Deputy of the Czech Parliament in legislative process

The main purpose of my thesis entitled "The legislative process - the role of Members of Parliament" is to analyze the process of preparing, making and passing laws by the Parliament of the Czech Republic, focusing on the role of Members of Parliament in the legislative process (including comparisons between members of the coalition, opposition and non- attached) and provide a comparison theory, therefore, the possibility of the constitution and other laws and actual practice.
Prague City Hall's attitude to prostitution

The diploma thesis The City Hall of Prague attitude towards prostitution is based on the constructivist paradigm and uses feminist theories. It examines, by means of a critical reading, the attitudes of the City Hall of Prague towards prostitution and its development in course of time. The period of investigation was determined by the beginning of municipal intention to introduce a regulatory bill. For this purpose all the relevant press releases from the period 2003 and 2015 were gathered. These documents are concerned with prostitution and they are accessible on press service section of www.praha.eu portal used by the City Hall as a medium for press releases. A theory part introduces basic concepts and trends in feminist debates concerning prostitution. The core of the thesis consists of four categories derived from the source data.These are: definition of prostitution, prostitution as a problem, needs and goals, and support and repression. The categories are treated critically from the viewpoint of feminist theories. The author follows not only the topics concerning prostitution, but also the way they are presented. Legislative cosponsorship network of Chamber of Deputies, Czech Parliament

The bachelor thesis Legislative "cosponsorship" network of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (the PSP CR) for the period 2017-2020 describes and analyses relations between members of the PSP CR in the certain period using data the submission of bills. The basic starting point for the theoretical part of the work is the creation of legislative networks. The thesis first the very essence of the use of legislative networks in the field of political science and provides the illustrative studies that have in the past dealt with the research of relations between legislators through legislative networks. Further in this part, the term "cosponsorship" is defined so that it can be explained in the context of the Czech legislative process. Subsequently, the methodological basis of the research, which is the method of Social Network Analysis (SNA), is presented. The thesis describes the substance and the principle of its operation together with some of its network statistics which are then applied to answer the research questions. The main part of the work then focuses on the creation of a legislative network by applying the SNA method and its visualization through the computer programme Gephi. Legislativní proces a jeho budoucnost Abstrakt Rigorózní práce se zabývá problematikou legislativního procesu v České republice. Cílem bylo objasnění průběhu přijímání návrhů zákonů, zároveň se v práci objevují náměty na možné úpravy a změny již existujících a nově zavedených pravidel, podle kterých jsou návrhy zákonů schvalovány v praxi. Jako prameny posloužily zejména platné právní normy České republiky, judikatura Ústavního soudu České republiky a odborná literatura.

The issue of euthanasia in the Czech Republic

This work is evaluating the topic of euthanasia in the Czech Republic and is divided into 4 main parts. First chapter is devoted to the topic of death and dying in conjunction with the concept of a person and dignity. Second chapter defines the concept of euthanasia, explains all related terms and presents some of the basic arguments for and against legalizing euthanasia. Third chapter presents Holland as a paradigm example of practicing euthanasia and outlines the stance of other parts of the world on euthanasia and assisted suicide. Last chapter is focusing on the state of legislation and ongoing public discussion about euthanasia in the Czech Republic. The aim is to map current situation and attempt to predict possible future development. This chapter also mentions the possibility of palliative care as a possible alternative for euthanasia.

Studie se zabývá vytvářením programu, organizováním pořadu schůze a možnými změnami, flexibilitou již schválených pořadů. Organizaci programu a pořadu parlamentních komor je možno rozdělit na několik typů, kdy většina komor tradičních parlamentů v podstatě nedovoluje změny hlavního programu a pořadu činěné tentýž den, aby nedocházelo k nepředvídaným programovým zvratům a rovněž aby vláda dosáhla plynulého přijímání navržených zákonů. Naopak v typu parlamentu, který se uplatňuje v parlamentních republikách postkomunistických států (ČR, Slovensko, Polsko, Maďarsko, pobaltské státy) jsou jednací řády ovlivněny tím, že agendu parlamentních komor (hlavního programu) povětšinou vytváří parlamenty samotné.
